DESCRIPTION:

So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, ¹⁰ for whoever has entered God’s rest has also rested from his works as God did from his. (Heb 4:9-10; ESV)

Have you entered God’s rest? Have you rested from your works as God did from His? What would it look like to remember that there remains a Sabbath rest that is ours, that we can intentionally enter into this Sabbath rest? We enter into this rest not only to honour the Lord Jesus who set us free, but also to live daily from this posture of rest.

For this Timeout with God retreat, a simple CRB (Come, Remember, Behold) prayer exercise would be shared, facilitated and practiced so that we may bring this posture of rest back into our daily living.

Do you sense God’s invitation to you to pause that you may enter into a Sabbath rest that God has reserved for His people?
