DESCRIPTION:
But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you…Your people shall be my people and your God my God…” (Ruth 1:16; ESV)

What is the life-story I tell about myself? Can I be at home with my story?

This Timeout with God is God’s invitation to you to slow down and let him show you where He is in your life-story. Our lives are not merely a random chaos of events. Rather as God opens our eyes, we can slowly start to discern that our story is an ongoing story that is part of God’s overall story of redemption. At this retreat, we will allow God to speak into our stories as we meditate on the book of Ruth, a plain story about two widows and a farmer whose lives are woven into the fabric of God’s salvation through ordinary daily living.

Blessings,

Chiew Kwan and Roy
