DESCRIPTION: 
The retreat program is specially curated to open a space of possibilities, greater clarity and inner peace for yourself. It has been designed to focus on helping you ease into a different rhythm, one that requires you to step away, pause and dig deeper to who you are. In the guided program, you will learn to discover different experiences for yourself and welcome the rich adventures that await you. There will be a suggested itinerary to assist you in the whole retreat.

This is a 3-Day retreat experience in the beautiful Orchid Country Club, Singapore. Enjoy a perfect getaway with the breath-taking panoramic views of the Aranda Course and Seletar reservoir. ABOUT THE RETREAT DIRECTOR:

Michael Ong
Retreat Director

Bringing with him over 25 years of experience in coaching and working with individuals, couples, families, and groups. He started his career as a social worker in Singapore. Later, his vision led him to venture to Vietnam, working as a social work consultant with both international and local NGOs and the Vietnamese government. His extensive experience living overseas and working in a multi-cultural context equipped him with the skills to operate effectively as a cultural translator. He is fluent in English, Vietnamese, and Mandarin.

His passion and contribution to the community had him featured in the documentary, “Find Me A Singaporean” hosted by Ms. Belinda Lee. Michael is also the first Singaporean to be awarded the prestigious scholarship from the McDonnell International Scholars Academy to pursue his master’s degree at the George Warren Brown School of Social Work, Washington University in St. Louis, USA.

Christine Peh
Retreat Director

Christine is a trained counselor and certified Solution-Focused Practitioner. She has extensive experience working and living in various countries in Asia over the past 21 years. Her overseas professional experience includes serving as the Counseling Program Director at the Center for Counseling, Research and Empowering of Community (CoRE) Hanoi, Vietnam; counselor at the New Counseling Services, Bangkok, Thailand and in Manila, Philippines. Christine also sits on the steering committee of Alpha Vietnam since 2016.

 

Christine has been instrumental in the development and implementation of the “Let’s Talk" program and other professional development courses. She is married to Lawrence Peh and they have three adult daughters – Isabel, Shona and Natania.
