DESCRIPTION:

Have you ever wondered how it feels to step back 2000 years ago, to the time and place where Jesus has just been resurrected?  What is the significance of ‘the third day’ after Jesus’ death?  Imagine you were Jesus’ disciple and follower on that day, how would you respond to Him?

Sharing in the joy of the risen Christ is a gift from God; we cannot earn or force it. We simply try to be open to receiving Easter joy by contemplating Christ in the Scriptures as he shares the joy of the Resurrection with others.

If you would like to personally encounter our risen Christ and the power of His resurrection through drama and Christian spirituality, here is an invitation to join us at this Timeout with God right after Easter! May God grace you with the lived experience of sharing in his joy of Resurrection at this retreat.

Doreen Yeo
Facilitator

Miss Doreen Yeo has been a Pastoral Staff in her church for the past ten years, ministering to members through songs and prayers.  She also organises and facilitates spiritual retreats for them.  Before serving full-time in church, she was a teacher in both primary and secondary schools, teaching English, Literature and Drama. Christian Spirituality is one of her passions as she feels it could help Christians connect with God in a deeper way.  It was also her favourite subject when she was studying in Discipleship Training Centre (DTC) in Singapore, graduating with a Graduate Diploma in Intercultural Studies.  God also fulfilled her dream by giving her 4.5 months of sabbatical in Regent College, Vancouver, where she learned more about Spirituality in the summer of 2018.
